Qinghai Kingho Group Organizes Team Building Experience Exchange & Excellent Teams and Heads Commending Conference

From Qinghai Kingho Group (Correspondents: Xu Yanling and Ma Cunyue) On the afternoon of December 27, 2012, Qinghai Kingho Group organized the Team Building Experience Exchange & Excellent Teams and Heads Commending Conference. Leaders of Qinghai Kingho Group, including Xu Tianlong, Lv Liqun, Liu Jiansheng, Wang Jun, Dai Changli, Jin Jingchun were present at the meeting. About 150 personnel including persons in charge of each department of office of the Group and all staff members, leaders from plants, mines and project headquarters in charge of corporate management, leaders in charge of excellent teams and heads of these teams and management officers attended the meeting. The meeting was presided by Quan Guojun, assistant general manager of Qinghai Kingho Group.
First, excellent team heads from Muli Coal Mine, Wulan Coal Chemical Company, Golmud Mining Company, Sales Company, Supply Company, Property Management Company, Iron and Steel Project Headquarters and offices of the Group made speeches with team building experience as topic. Each unit and department made summary in a focused and targeted way by strictly concentrating on "Type VI" teams, "double narration activity", further development and benefits increase, technological innovation and focused on the specific methods, effects and direction for struggle in the following days during the process of team building. The materials are concise and to the point, with both text and pictures, typical and representative.
Upon the completion of the keynote speech, Lv Liqun, deputy general manager and chief accountant announced the Decisions on Commending Excellent Teams and Team Heads. Then, leaders of Qinghai Kingho Group awarded prizes to 12 excellent teams and 18 excellent team heads to be commended and took picture all together with them.
At the conclusion of this meeting, Xu Tianlong, administrative deputy general manager and chief engineer, made a conclusion remark. He said, "This meeting is well organized and is quite necessary. The communication materials provided by units are complete in content and have their own features. Especially, the method of Coal Chemical Company updating clumsy production process and improving economic benefits, measures of Muli Mine controlling coal quality and reducing the output of turf coal as well as experience of Mining Company in technological transformation and overall utilization of old and waste materials left me deep impressions". Also, he pointed out some current problems and shortcomings: first, decentralized key points, weakness in technical and economic feasibility; second, talking in generalities, empty in content, poor in specific and detailed measures; third, less focus on practice, concentrating more on forms than content, failing to bring the role of guidance on production and construction into full play.
Later, Xu Tianlong proposed three requirements on the advancement of team building in Qinghai Kingho Group: 1. Improving cognition and focusing on implementation: The main leaders from each unit and department should pay great attention to the implementation of team building work deployment of Qinghai Kingho Group and completely changed the ideas of more focus on production and construction than operation and management in the past; 2. Concentrating on practice and connotations: Team building is never to place a shelf and to be formalistic. There should be some necessary propaganda and forms of organization; however, we should pay more attention to its connotations, link theory to practice and realize "four combinations", i.e, combinations of team building with business, foundation management, culture construction, content and forms. 3. All staff participation and nourishing of talents. Each unit and department shall heavily rely on staff members in the team building activity, guide them to actively get involved in team building, play their intelligence and wisdom into full play, strive to be excellent model teams and realize the beautiful promise of enterprises and employees to develop and make progress jointly.
This conference is to fully demonstrate Qinghai Kingho Group's excellent achievements in team building, summarize the experience of team building work and discuss on the problems and measures for improvement in team building, so as to make the team building in the Group deep and solid and lay a solid foundation for creation of "Type VI" teams. After the meeting, leaders from Qinghai Kingho Group and attendants from factories, mines and project headquarters had a dinner together.
